Outpatient

I took the day off from posting yesterday because I am now out of the hospital!!!! But we're still in Salt Lake City—at least until Tuesday. On Friday night, the OBs determined that it wasn't necessary to keep me there, as I wasn't receiving much monitoring. So I was discharged with a prescription for sotalol and just have to go in every day for an EKG. I also had to get an echo on the baby's heart yesterday to make sure she's still stable. Rowan still has a strange rhythm, but has a normal heart rate. We get checked again tomorrow and hope to see that her heart function has improved (still not back to normal) and that some of her fluid buildup as gone away. If we continue to see improvement, we will be sent home on Tuesday...

For now, I am trying to enjoy my freedom—from sleeping in a hospital bed/being hooked up to various machines. We're off to the Utah State Fair today. I'll have more to report tomorrow. Crossing my fingers it's all good news :-)
