Wish You Were Here

I'm sitting in Labor and Delivery at the University of Utah hospital, hooked up to several machines. I've just been given my first dose of digoxin in the hope of getting the baby's heart rate to a more acceptable level. We will be here for at least the next few days as we monitor the baby's response to the medication. Ella is in Idaho Falls, staying with friends. I miss her already. Send good thoughts and good humor. We will keep you posted.
