16.5 weeks

And all is well. Still throwing up. Surprise, surprise. But I've managed to gain four pounds. I have switched from an OB/GYN to a midwife and am already feeling good about that decision. I'm still being seen at the same practice, but I will deliver at the birth center in a different hospital (across the street from the other hospital—both are 5 minutes away.)

I got to hear the little one's heartbeat and all is fine and dandy. We go in again on the 31st for an ultrasound—excited to finally see who's been making me sick all these weeks :-)

I am still running 3-4 times/week, just going a bit slower. I have been eating an abundance of carbohydrates in the form of bread and fruit. I find that I almost always throw up tomatoes/tomato-based sauce. So I'm steering clear of those for a while. I've been enjoying avocados on bread with salt/pepper—something I ate a lot of when I was pregnant with Ella. And I'm finally back to drinking water... it made me throw up SO MUCH for a while. And thank goodness I can have it—it's been over 90 degrees for a few weeks here.

More soon... who knows, maybe I'll even post a photo.
