I love these conversations.

Today has been the most beautiful day—blue skies and warm weather (for February)... and on the way to daycare this morning, Ella told me to look outside at the jingle bell clouds (contrails) and they DID look like little bells. She asked what they were from and I told her they were from airplanes/jets. So naturally, she asked HOW they made those... and so I told her to ask her dad, or better yet, ask her Uncle Trouble who is a pilot. And Ella said, "Like Mickey? From In the Night Kitchen?"

Games

Last night, we taught Ella how to play chicken scratch (dominoes). She did a great job counting all of the dots and she proved to be great at picking out tiles because in the end, Ella was the winner! :-)
