Thanksgiving

We're off to Montana for Thanksgiving this year. Brady and I have been making separate trips back home for years, so it will be nice to finally be visiting together. It comes as a welcome break, as he and I are a bit burnt out. I have had a constant flood of projects and Brady has been working extra—including a week of swing shift (blech!). Ella has started swimming lessons at the local high school pool. We're just a week in, but it's been fun so far. Hopefully she'll decide to trust that we're not going to make her go under water. Next up, I'll be looking into preschools...

This weekend, we went into the city for a quick lunch with Larissa! It was so great to see her (after nearly two years)... and meet her cutie, Brenden :-)

Secrets

Ella's latest is that she likes to tell secrets. But really, she only has one secret... it goes a little something like this.

Ella: Mom. I want to tell you a secret.
Me: Ok
Ella: I love you.

So sweet... but tonight, after walking out of the room, Ella says, "But Mom—I still have more secrets in my mouth."
