Look familiar? Yes, we ventured to yet another state park this weekend. It has been HOT, HOT, HOT. We are fortunate to have so many beautiful parks nearby. Maybe we'll try a new one next week...

In other news, Papa Chris and Fancy Nancy are arriving today for a visit—Ella is excited! It's supposed to be close to 100 degrees all week—yikes! Brady and I will be spending a night in Port Townsend on Thursday for our first night away together since Ella was born. We're planning to do lots of things that are nearly impossible to do with a toddler—kayaking, going to a movie, staying in a B&B—I can't wait!!!!!

Last night, we had our neighbors over for dinner. Afterwards, the Stasi ransacked Ella's room. We found out later it was only Ella and JP. Aye!!!!

Pics from a quick trip to Alki Beach in West Seattle. We met one of my best childhood friends, Erica (yay!), in the city on Friday. After brunch, we walked over to the beach and let Ella get really (REALLY) dirty. What fun!
